NCC Home Page

Welcome to the National Capital Chapter's website! The NCC is the University of Alabama's local non-profit alumni association serving more than 4,300 alumni and friends in the DC, Virginia, and Maryland area. We hope that you will find this tool useful and informative, whatever you may be seeking here. We strive to keep the site current and are continually updating it, so check back frequently for up-to-date information on our chapter, membership, and events.

LICENSE PLATE UPDATE:  A sample plate for the state of Maryland exists!  Maryland is in the process of creating the first 50 license plates, which will be ready for Maryland residents in 4-6 weeks!  Here's what they will look like:

Maryland License Plate Sample

We are preparing to send our list of Maryland residents who initially want a tag.  If you are interested, please contact Chris Bayham at licenseplates@dcbamafans.com.  A HUGE Roll Tide goes out to our Maryland residents for helping to make this happen!

SCHOLARSHIP UPDATE:  Due to new regulations, we can no longer accept scholarship donations via our website or through checks made out to the National Capital Chapter. Please visit our Scholarship Page for instructions on how to donate funds to our endowed scholarships.

MEMBERSHIP UPDATE:  Old Dominion Brewhouse is offering a 10% discount to all chapter members on non-Alabama game days.  Also, all new members will receive a free drink when they join or renew their membership.  To take part in both of these great offers, bring your valid member ID card to Old Dominion Brewhouse.

Jay Hart, an avid Alabama fan, is married to a jewelry designer.  In celebration of the upcoming playoff game, she has designed a booster bracelet just for our alumni chapter.  This handsome bracelet features the new rubberized beads—in crimson of course!--along with black and white beads, our favorite elephant and the letters Roll Tide #1.  The bracelet measures 7-1/2 inches. What more could you want?  How about a price of $25 with $5 of each purchase going to the NCC endowed scholarship fund?  Earrings are also available for $12 with $2 of each purchase going to the scholarship fund.  If you need a smaller/larger bracelet o! r sterling silver or clip-on earrings, these can be ordered with the same donation to the scholarship fund!   See Jay with questions or email Linda or Jay ahead of the game with your special request at llumbert@kevla.org.
