Welcome to the National Capital Chapter's website! The NCC is the University of Alabama's local non-profit alumni association serving more than 4,300 alumni and friends in the DC, Virginia, and Maryland area. We hope that you will find this tool useful and informative, whatever you may be seeking here. Preseason Kickoff at Old Dominion!

Old Dominion is hosting a back-to-football party on Saturday, August 28th, 2010 from 2-6pm for the University of Alabama and FSU Alumni groups. They will be offering free beer and select drinks. Everyone who attends will get a 32oz Alumni mug for free (during the season, they will be selling the mug for $10). The mug can be brought in anytime during football season to refill with Bud Light or Alumni Ale for only $4!

LICENSE PLATE UPDATE:  A sample plate for the state of Maryland exists!  Maryland is in the process of creating the first 50 license plates, which will be ready for Maryland residents in 4-6 weeks!  Here's what they will look like:

We are preparing to send our list of Maryland residents who initially want a tag.  If you are interested, please contact Chris Bayham at licenseplates@dcbamafans.com.  A HUGE Roll Tide goes out to our Maryland residents for helping to make this happen!

SCHOLARSHIP UPDATE:  Due to new regulations, we can no longer accept scholarship donations via our website or through checks made out to the National Capital Chapter. Please visit our Scholarship Page for instructions on how to donate funds to our endowed scholarships.

MEMBERSHIP UPDATE:  Old Dominion Brewhouse is offering a 10% discount to all chapter members on non-Alabama game days.  Also, all new members will receive a free drink when they join or renew their membership.  To take part in both of these great offers, bring your valid member ID card to Old Dominion Brewhouse.

If you haven't received a copy, contact the Alumni office. The NCC, along with the Richmond Chapter are continuing our push for applications to get a UA plate in the Commonwealth of Virginia!
