About the NCC - History

The National Capital Chapter was chartered on September 8, 1947.  The chapter area encompasses Northern Virginia, Washington, DC and the state of Maryland. 

In April 2007 the National Capital Chapter was recognized by the University of Alabama National Alumni Association as the Division I Out of State Chapter of the Year for the 2006-07 chapter year.
