President - Brandon Powell (president@dcbamafans.com)
Brandon has spent the last year as the National Capital Chapter's Vice-President, and served as Treasurer and Sports Chair the previous two years. He graduated magna cum laude from the Capstone in 2001 with a B.A. in Political Science and Religious Studies, and earned a Master of Public Administration from Alabama in 2003. While in school, he was an active member of the University Honors Program, Wesley Foundation, and College Republicans. Brandon moved to the D.C. area in 2003, currently works for the U.S. Department of Energy as a Contract Specialist, and attends Fair Oaks Church in Fairfax, VA.
Vice President - Chris Bayham (vice-president@dcbamafans.com)
Chris graduated summa cum laude from The University of Alabama in 1998 with a B.S. in Business Administration and a concentration in Management Information Systems. He received his M.B.A. from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management in 2003. Chris is currently Senior Director of Client Services at Freddie Mac. Prior to joining Freddie Mac, he was a Principal with Diamond Management and Technology Consultants, a premier global consulting firm. He has previously held roles as both Secretary and Treasurer of the NCC, and has served as President of the Seebeck Society, the alumni association for the Computer Based Honors program at UA. Chris and his wife, Valerie, reside in Alexandria, VA.
Secretary - Kevin McCall (secretary@dcbamafans.com)
Kevin attended The University of Alabama from 1993 to 1998. He received a B.S. in Commerce and Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. Kevin first moved to the DC area after graduating from UA for a job and to be closer to his family, who still live near Harrisburg, PA. In 2001 he went to work for NBC Olympics, Inc. managing business relationships directly related to NBC's 2002, 2004, and 2006 Olympic Games. After stints living in Salt Lake City, Australia, Greece, and Italy, Kevin and his wife decided to settle down and return the the National Capital region in mid-2006. He has been actively pursuing his career in commercial real estate since returning, and enjoys Alabama football, golf, and travelling in his free time.
Treasurer - Bob Keith (treasurer@dcbamafans.com)
Bob served as NCC Events Chair during the past year. Through his efforts, we established our relationship with Old Dominion Brewhouse. In addition to this critical find, Bob helped plan and coordinate several events throughout the year. Furthermore, he acted as de facto Secretary when Major Brian Sims received orders from the Air Force to serve in Kuwait. Bob graduated with a B.A. in Communication and Information Sciences in 2001 and with an M.A. in Economics in 2003. He currently lives in Alexandria, VA and works as an economist for the Bureau of Labor Statistics, while pursuing an M.B.A. at American University.
Immediate Past-President - Amy Landry (past-president@dcbamafans.com)
Amy was born and raised in the Northern Virginia area and was the 1994 recipient of the National Capital Chapter's Louise Bryant Tate Scholarship. Amy attended Alabama from 1994 to 1998, and graduated with a double major in International Studies and Russian. She returned to Northern Virginia in 2003 and has been a very active member of the chapter. As Social Chair, Amy coordinated the UA/AU Tailgate Party event. She was also the chapter's committee member for the 2005 SEC Capital Kick-off Party and served as Co-Chairperson for the 2006 event. Currently, Amy is a Center Director for Sylvan Learning Center. She resides in Falls Church, VA.
