The National Capital Chapter participated in the 2009 Hands on DC work a thon. We were assigned to Moten at Wilkinson Elementary School in Southeast DC. We had a great time clearing out old brush and debrise from an outdoor courtyard and built tree boxes to make the area a nicer place for students to play.
The NCC will participate again in this year's Hands on DC work a thon. The work a thon will take place on Sat. May 15th.
