News - 2008 Season:
The chapter competed for the sixth consecutive year in the Capital Alumni Network’s Flag Football league. Once again, Alabama posted a winning record, finishing the regular season at 6-4. The postseason tournament will be held in December, and Alabama expects to be seeded somewhere between 20th and 25th in the 57-team league.
We were in one of the toughest divisions and spent part of the season ranked in the Top 25. And these were no easy wins—our schedule included local schools Maryland and Georgetown. We recruited the majority of our players from our game viewing parties. We also recruited several new chapter members through participation in the league.
Let’s give a special ROLL TIDE to coaches Cary Haney and Brandon Powell and all of our team members.
